An Italian Lighting Company with a factory based in Cairo, Egypt specialized in decoration lighting decided to respond to a call for public health amid concerns of Corona Virus spread in the country.

Some alterations were made to some of the equipment, other machinery was produced from scratch and new production lines were invented to comply with the management’s mission to use all its resources and expertise for the Corona Virus Relief.

Sicuro Medical Supplies was established as a separate company and immediately starting manufacturing sterilization cabinets, face shields, face masks, sensors, digital thermometers and thermal cameras for fever screening.

Sicuro Medical Supplies was able to start a new exclusive distribution agreement with a local factory in Egypt producing sterilization materials to provide its clients not only with cabinets but also to ensure the access to re-filling and lower costs of the sterilization liquid needed for the cabinets. All sanitising and disinfectants are approved by the Industrial Development Authority (IDA) and according to the World Health Organization guidelines.

Clients started also asking for more safety measures for not only outdoor spaces but also indoors therefore the engineers at Sicuro Medical were able to set up a full sanitization system for the safety of the people in closed places.

As things were developing fast and the demand increasing day by day to comply with the safety measures needed to combat Corona Virus, a new production line using UV Protection was created in the factory to enable Sicuro Medical to manufacture face shields and hygienic face masks that can be used safely by the consumers.

Sicuro Medical has also started with the help of many sponsors in the local community to be available through booths in many gas stations and other points selling different sized sterilization gels and alcohol so that people can buy them on the go.
